ResortMed was founded by David Denton Davis MD in Vail, Colorado in 2000. Dr Davis, who is a veteran Emergency Medicine physician, identified there was a need for an alternative to the local healthcare options- the hospital emergency department and several urgent care centers. ResortMed offers house call services to some of the best resorts in Colorado and is expanding operations to California, Florida, and Nevada. The need to keep consolidated claim and patient information across all doctors and branches of ResortMed led them to hire Wake to build a completely custom secure web-based system. The system allow doctors to input patients, claims, process credit cards, generate HICFA 1500 forms, and run reports.
